這首於1998年製作的歌，是Sarah McLachlan為紀念因吸毒過量致死的Smashing Pumpkins鍵盤手 Jonathan Melvoin而寫的歌曲。在人生的種種不順遂中，人們或許會想找尋各種方式暫時逃避，而有時卻更加迷失。Sarah McLachlan希望藉由這首歌撫慰困頓的人心，提醒人們不必試圖承擔他人的困擾，而要學習愛自己。
這首曲子的空靈悠揚，不但在歐美各排行榜表現優異、蟬連數週。也受到青睞，成為電影The City of Angles 的主題曲。因而更加受到廣大樂迷的喜愛。
